Oil Plus 2C is the ultimate hardwax oil wood finish. It offers wood stain and durable protection in one easy-to-apply layer. Utilizing advanced molecular bonding technology, this premium wood finish provides exceptional protection against water, heat, and daily wear and tear. It is the best oil for wood furniture, hardwood flooring, tables, cabinetry, and just about any wooden surface.
Molecular Bonding – The oil adheres – within 3-5 minutes – to the upper microns in the wood using a strong molecular bond (no film forming, no saturation).
One Single Layer – Thanks to this technology, the consumption is much lower than a traditional finish. This results in a durable coloring and protection in one single layer. Once the fibers are bonded with the oil, the wood doesn’t absorb any surplus product – making a second layer unnecessary.
Easy To Repair – Surfaces treated with Rubio Monocoat oil are easy to maintain, and isolated scratches or damaged areas are easily repaired.
Durable Protection – The molecular bonding creates a durable, long lasting protection. To obtain this molecular bonding, it is very important to adhere to the reaction time of a few minutes. The better the fibers are bonded, the stronger the protection will be.
No Overlaps – Once all free cellulose fibers are molecularly bonded, surplus product will no longer be accepted by the wood or the bonded Rubio Monocoat layer itself. This ensures a professional finish without lap lines.
