W & H Molder Planer

This ~1985 W and H Molder Planer has been completely rebuilt with new bearings, powered feed rollers, motor and belt.  It has a multi pass retro kit installed which allows for multiple (incremental) passes to plane or create any variety of molding profiles.  It is equipped with newly sharpened planning knives and molding knives for crown molding and other trim profiles are available from Williams and Hussey.  The motor is a new 2 hp, 3450 rpm, dual voltage motor currently wired to run on 220 volts.  Both the infeed and outfeed rollers are powered and the open side design allows the shaping of both straight and curved material.  The unit will accommodate a 6” t X 7” w work piece.  Williams and Hussey is currently in business, selling repair parts, molding knives and new molder planers.  New molder planers range in price between $4000 and $4500.
